Day 4. Outnumbered

Today was my last day at the entry level 16.5 feet and will be starting 24 feet on Monday! It’s certainly a case of perseverance as I’m still waiting on a positive effect rather than just the side effects that seem to be piling up! It’s clear from all I’ve read and been told though that this takes time before you feel the benefits. So I will go into next weekend with the strength I’ve been given by my all of my family and by Marta who I could not have done this without!

Today was the best fitting of the mask I’ve had so far so at least I’m making progress in that department. Busiest one I’ve done so far as well with 8 people in the chamber at the same time. Today was 7 women and myself, I always seem to be outnumbered! I reckon it’s a conspiracy! I’m outnumbered even at home with Marta and 3 female pets! Had a quick chat with them all before again and they really so go out of there way to be friendly and talk about non-ms things as well as MS problems! I can’t say I’m 100% comfortable with it all yet but hopefully that’s just a matter of time.

So same intensity of sessions next week but with a higher absorption rate so I’m hoping to be able to tell you what difference people can expect when they move on to this level and hope it is useful info for someone thinking about starting this up!

I was diagnosed with Relapsing/Remitting MS in 2004 when I was 20. I originally started this page document my progress using Oxygen Therapy but now the new PIP has started to replace DLA and I, like so many others, have been told i am no longer eligible to receive a Motability Car and so I am fighting against the DWP to explain exactly why they are wrong.
