Happy Fathers Day!!

It’s not quite Christmas but it’s a great excuse for Dads to eat chocolate, watch football and head to the pub!

My thought turns to fathers with MS and also to fathers of children with MS.

One of the big things my Dad always says is that he wishes we could trade places to give me a life MS free. I can imagine that many other fathers out there, whose children are afflicted with a lifelong illness, say much the same. I know the possibility I could pass this down to a child (I think it’s a 1 in 100 chance) has played a part in remaining child free! Well, that and I don’t want to share the PS4!

I was diagnosed with Relapsing/Remitting MS in 2004 when I was 20. I originally started this page document my progress using Oxygen Therapy but now the new PIP has started to replace DLA and I, like so many others, have been told i am no longer eligible to receive a Motability Car and so I am fighting against the DWP to explain exactly why they are wrong.
