A fairytale ending?

I had a whole thing written out yesterday but I think as my appeal is next Tuesday it would be better for me to wait and see how this all pans out.

It’s been at the forefront of my mind for months now, long months, and hopefully the end is in sight, and hopefully it’s a good ending!

So I’m gonna be quiet, for now, but I’ll be back. You can’t keep a good man down. And you can’t keep me down either! 😛

I was diagnosed with Relapsing/Remitting MS in 2004 when I was 20. I originally started this page document my progress using Oxygen Therapy but now the new PIP has started to replace DLA and I, like so many others, have been told i am no longer eligible to receive a Motability Car and so I am fighting against the DWP to explain exactly why they are wrong.

      1. Things are getting better. I now have a social worker and she is brilliant. There is funding being put in place so that I can get as much care as I need, rather than what we could afford. There is more out there than we think to help us, we just have to keep looking and keep plugging away at the system.

I hope your doing well health wise and have my fingers crossed for your appeal 🙂

      2. Stressed lol which never helps much and my left side is going due to having to push myself harder. Had MRI last night but don’t think there’ll be anything new! Think the facts are in my favour but can’t take anything for granted, especially from the DWP!
Really glad to hear that! Seemed a load of nonsense that the carers were leaving you hanging on and then just not showing up. It’s good that the social worker has made the difference. Life becomes a little easier when we get the help we need. Onwards and upwards and thank you. Take care x
